Read these guidelines thoroughly before proceeding.
Follow the ARIS Congress Accepted Nomenclature.
All submissions must be submitted via the Congress submission system.
Ensure ALL authors / presenters are aware of and agree with the abstract details as well as the submission terms and conditions.
Choose the most fitting topic/category for your abstract. The Program Committee retains the authority to reclassify an abstract if necessary.
Submissions will be accepted for the following presentation types.
Before you begin, please ensure you have the following details prepared.
Full name, email, affiliation, institution, country, and contact number.
Names and affiliations of all contributing authors.
Oral Presentation / ePoster / Video.
Written in clear, grammatically correct English suitable for publication. Max 350 words.
Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the online portal. Abstracts sent via email will not be considered.
The presenting author must confirm all co-authors have reviewed and approved the abstract content and submission terms.
All abstracts must be submitted within the stipulated deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
All abstracts will undergo a blinded peer-review process by ARIS reviewers. The decision of the reviewers will be final.
Only registered participants will be eligible to present. Authors must complete registration and payment on or before 28 February 2027.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book of the International Journal of Advanced Robotic and Innovative Surgery.
All potential conflicts of interest must be declared at the time of submission and presented on the title slide if accepted.
In case of inability to present or any change in presenting author, the Congress organizers must be informed at the earliest.
Must include clear English narration. Use only generic terminology; no commercial branding.
Accepted formats: .mp4 / .mov | Max duration: 8 minutes | Max file size: 500 MB
Min resolution: 1280×720 (720p); Preferred: 1920×1080 (1080p). Frame rate must not exceed 60 FPS.
Do not include author names or institutional identifiers. Avoid excessive compression; maintain original quality.
Submissions must not include patient identifiers such as names, hospital numbers, or any identifiable data.
Submitted abstracts or cases must be original and should not have been published in any journal, online platform, or presented at any prior international congress.

Any duplicate submissions identified will be withdrawn from all associated ARIS scientific sessions and publications.
By submitting your work to ARIS 2027, you agree to the use of author names, affiliations, and biographical information in relation to the publication and dissemination of your submission.
While the intellectual content remains the property of the author(s), submission of an accepted abstract constitutes agreement to grant ARIS the rights to edit, format, publish, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative materials such as press releases and educational content.
All accepted abstracts will be published online in the Annual Meeting Supplement of IJARIS. Following presentation at the Congress, authors retain the right to incorporate their work into future publications, provided such use does not suggest endorsement by ARIS.
The submitter further grants ARIS 2027 the rights to record, film, reproduce, and utilize the work or its presentation in any format or medium, including permission to use the author's name, likeness, and biographical details for educational and promotional purposes.
During submission, you will be required to confirm the following:
WITHDRAWAL
Authors will be informed of the acceptance or rejection of their abstracts on or before 15 January 2027. If an author wishes to withdraw their abstract, they may do so within one week from the date of notification.
NO SHOW
Authors are requested to notify the Congress Office if they are unable to attend and present their abstract. Failure to present without prior written communication to support@aris2027.org before the commencement of the Congress will result in the author being barred from participation in subsequent ARIS Congresses.
Authors of the Top Paper Abstracts are required to submit their full manuscripts to IJARIS, the official journal of ARIS, following the Congress and no later than 30th June 2027. All other authors with accepted abstracts are strongly encouraged to submit their full papers by the same deadline.
All accepted abstracts will be published in an online supplement of the IJARIS Journal. Please note that submission does not guarantee acceptance, as all manuscripts will undergo the standard peer-review process.
Note: To ensure your submission is considered as part of the ARIS abstract category, please select the appropriate option on the submission page within the IJARIS platform.
If an author intends to submit the manuscript to another journal, a formal written request must be sent to support@aris2027.org at least four weeks prior to the Congress, clearly stating the reason and including proof of submission to the alternate journal.
Approval of such requests will be at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief of IJARIS. In the event the manuscript is not accepted by the alternate journal, it must subsequently be submitted to IJARIS.
Submissions open from 16 April 2026. Ensure you are registered to be eligible for presentation. Upon successful submission, an abstract ID will be sent via email.
